General Description

The Lancaster MBA, ranked in the top 50 in the FT MBA World Rankings and 1st in the world for Corporate Strategy, is designed around turning high achievers into senior strategic leaders. The programme attracts high potential students with technical, functional and managerial experience and accelerates their leadership and strategic thinking development. Students explore their individual potential and reflective capabilities, observe and learn from the actions and thinking of others and contribute to the understanding of culture and management.

The Lancaster MBA has three core themes:

A Focus on Practice - There are three consultancy challenges during the year, making actual business exposure a major part of the programme. These are central to Learning through Action and performance improvement.

Leadership and Personal Development - The Lancaster approach to personal development emphasises achievement though self-awareness, purposeful action, confidence in taking difficult decisions and engagement in critical reflective thinking.

Integrating Management Knowledge - Lancaster MBA graduates develop functional knowledge and an analytical approach and are competent in seeing the interconnected nature of organisational issues, working across functional boundaries and operating at a strategic level.
