The Marketing Analytics Summit
June 05, 2025
While the competition remains centered on real-world marketing situations, we will focus on the growing need for marketers to combine data driven solutions backed by profound human insights.
Description
The Wake Forest University School of Business Marketing Summit celebrates its 33th anniversary this year. To commemorate this achievement, The Marketing Summit will continue to partner with Inmar, an operator of intelligent commerce networks, to host the final rounds of our longest-running student-led competition during the annual Inmar Analytics Forum. The event is a 3-day symposium featuring executives and thought leaders from multiple industries offering their insights on the impact of Big Data on all functional areas of a business. Because of this collaboration, the competition will be known as the Wake Forest University School of Business Marketing Analytics Summit – a name that incorporates our dedication to presenting cases that will integrate bigger and more complex data sets such as those you would expect to see in any number of industries and positions.
While the competition remains centered on real-world marketing situations, we will focus on the growing need for marketers to combine data driven solutions backed by profound human insights. We believe, as the function of the marketing professional has evolved rapidly in the last decade, the ability to provide thorough analysis of marketing and other data will be a key differentiator for graduates entering the knowledge economy.
We are excited to be on the ground floor for what is shaping up to be a partnership that will last for many years to come. Because of this new relationship, The Marketing Analytics Summit team has developed several changes that make the competition a better fit within the 3-day Inmar Analytics Forum. Our student competitors will see the biggest impact in the competition’s new structure:
We have designed this new format to showcase the hard work and ingenuity of the competing teams to a crowd of marketing professionals from companies such as CVS, Coca-Cola, Target, Uber, Wal-Mart and many more. Each competing team member is also invited to attend the entire Inmar Analytics Forum as a Student VIP, with access to a wealth of sessions with industry experts, networking events and the best food North Carolina has to offer.
