Rice Cleantech Innovation Competition (RCIC)

November 14, 2024
Objective

The impact of climate change wields a greater influence over business operations and investments now more than ever. RCIC aims to provide a unique platform for students to explore the technical challenges that corporations face in reducing emissions and develop innovative decarbonization strategies, all while considering the associated business implications.

Rice Cleantech Innovation Competition (RCIC)
Description

RCIC is a student-led case competition that welcomes passionate cleantech and energy leaders from communities across the US to discuss solutions addressing a pressing issue: the increasing energy demand in the US. We are proud to offer a platform for students and industry professionals to learn from each other and discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by decarbonization. This case competition is an opportunity for students to engage with real-world problems and provide impactful solutions that showcase critical analytical and problem-solving skills within a short period of time.

MBA students are invited to form teams of 4-5 students. Participants will engage in a business-focused case competition centered around decarbonization, offering significant prize opportunities.
