Due to lack of connections, language barriers, low essay-writing skills, and low confidence, MBA applicants from emerging markets often face difficulties when applying to top business schools. They generally end up spending thousands of dollars on admission consultant’s fees or ask friends and families with little knowledge about MBA application process to review their applications.

MBA Mentor is an online admission mentoring platform that helps MBA applicants from emerging markets, to go to top business schools.
We keep the service affordable by connecting MBA applicants with MBA students or recent alumni from top business schools that guide them through the application process. As a mentor, you will be provided with training and assessment materials to evaluate the candidates.

The role:
You will provide guidance to the MBA applicants on various parts of the application process (CV, essays, mock interview, etc).
You will provide first-hand information and insights about the culture of your school, the program, activities and clubs.
You will support and motivate the candidate during this challenging process.
You will provide valuable and meaningful contribution by increasing the applicants’ chances to get accepted into their dream schools.
You will be able to work remotely and flexibly.
You will be compensated $30/hour

We are looking for people who:
- Are enrolled, are attending or have completed a top MBA program
- Come from finance, consulting, tech, and engineering backgrounds, etc
- Have previous mentoring or coaching experience (not mandatory)
- Have the motivation and determination to help MBA applicants
- Are available 1-4 hours/week from June to September
