The Lead Finance Analyst will be responsible for supporting Global Surgery Supply Chain Strategy and Business Transformation Projects; providing accurate, timely, and meaningful financial analysis. Participates in business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and supports cross-functional work teams. Provides recommendations to business partners. Analyzes financial reports and related analyses, including the use of financial models. Performs highly complex financial analysis and research. Monitors project expenses and capital budgeting through tracking and reporting activities. Presents complex analysis to management.

Responsibilities:
Supports financial reporting activities for Transformation Projects, providing accurate, timely and meaningful information to influence the best business decisions
Assists month-end expense & cost budgeting/tracking/reporting for Projects
Performs analysis of capital appropriation requests and monthly spending of approved capital
Works with sites to develop financial forecasts for impacted sites/areas
Handles and provides direction on Cost revision and BP/Updates process, related to projects
Analyzes and evaluates projects cost reduction impact
Drive plant efforts to meet its financial commitments
Provides project performance reporting to Financial Reporting Analysis (FP&A) Staff
Assists in Financial Audits
Ensure adherence to Internal Control Policies & Procedures

Qualifications
A Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
CPA, MBA, or CMA is preferred
A minimum of six (6) years of experience in accounting, finance or related field is required
Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
Sound analytical and technical skills essential
Knowledge and application of accounting/financial concepts, practices and techniques is preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and General Ledger is required
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables, formulas, macros and VLOOKUP functions is preferred
Experience with JDE and SAP is preferred
Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device and/or consumer products industries preferred
Prior supply chain experience is preferred
Ability to recommend and implement operational improvements is required
Ability to effectively tackle leadership roles in various functions is required
Ability to collaborate with all levels of management in a cross-functional team environment is required
Prior management experience is preferred
Ensures compliance with Environmental Management System (EMS) responsibilities
Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and/or internationally may be required
