Facebook is seeking a highly strategic, quantitative, process and detail-oriented Program Manager to join Facebook’s Business Planning & Operations team. The mission of the Business Planning & Operations group is to maximize business performance by being the objective, trusted partner to the sales organization. This person will partner effectively with leadership across our Global Marketing Solutions organization and will work cross-functionally with several teams at Facebook with the objective of enabling leadership to make effective, analytically driven, and strategic operating decisions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Facebook, interested in advertising, a strategic thinker, highly analytical, an excellent problem solver, a fast learner, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to focus on the details while thinking strategically. The candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong technical acumen, and experience managing cross-functional work streams and stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operating cadence/Rhythm of business:

Drive operational reviews and rhythm of the business, leading business analysis including revenue, customer and market analysis

Improve operational excellence through identification and execution of initiatives that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business. This includes identifying ways in which tools can be built and deployed to improve workflows

Relationships:

Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders providing objective, data driven guidance on key initiatives

Support GMS teams on medium/long-term planning including business potential, resourcing and org design

Build partnerships with GMS Operations leaders and key cross-functional stakeholders

Strategic Projects and Initiatives:

Translate global initiatives to regional level and help drive alignment

Develop projects at regional level that have potential to scale at a global level

Provide business analytic strength to help drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth

Focus on process and continuous improvement of core projects through automation and process enhancement

Build cross-functional relationships to help solve complex interdisciplinary problems on behalf of the business

Business Analytics and Insights:

Conduct insightful analysis using internal and external data (e.g. revenue, product, market, industry, trends) to derive insights that will drive business decisions

Focus on process and continuous improvement of core projects through automation and process enhancement

Identify, scope and drive critical projects and initiatives for the GMS org, partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

BA/BS

8 + years of work experience in Sales Operations, Sales Finance, Business Planning, and/or Strategy consulting, or 6+ years of experience with MBA/Masters degree

Demonstrated problem solving experience with experience providing business insights and recommendations from data sets

Experience with end to end execution of projects

Demonstrated experience to present technical content to audiences

Stakeholder management experience - including managing multiple partners simultaneously

Advanced spreadsheet and presentation software skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA or graduate degree

Experience working independently, managing multiple concurrent projects and driving initiatives in a cross-functional environment

Experience extracting data from large/complex databases

Experience in data visualizations and building scalable reporting tools
