This position will report to the Senior Director, Total Rewards Global Risk in the Total Rewards Department. The Senior Manager will support the oversight of global benefit plans' assets and liabilities of operating companies throughout the Comcast enterprise including NBCUniversal from a risk, financing and investment perspective.
Major Areas of Accountability/Responsibility:
-Manage the financing/risk management of global employee benefits with a captive; manage all fronting carriers/networks relationships including reporting, the annual reinsurance of global benefit policies, management of loss control activities, assisting with loss analyses and budgets, identifying exposures, recommending solutions for mitigating losses that may arise from exposures, implementing approved programs, promoting loss prevention, updating and monitoring compliance. Support the quarterly reinsurance committee of the Risk Management Committee.
-Manage the oversight of multi-employer retirement plans, working with investment consultants and/or actuaries to identify and prioritize key risks, risk mitigation strategies and risk monitoring on an ongoing basis.
-Collaborate with Comcast and NBCUniversal Labor Relations teams to support collective bargaining of union benefits. Participate as company trustee for Jointly trusteed plans, as needed.
-Manage the day to day benefit investment activities (including the investment management of the Corporate Owned Life Insurance, "COLI"). Work with trustees to set up and provide direction on the processing of asset movement, and expense payment processing; Monitor liquidity buffer accounts where applicable in defined contribution investment options; Work with custodians and administrators to ensure daily accruals are calculated correctly on all defined contribution investment options.
-Support and co-lead with global benefits any strategic initiatives from a financing, risk and investment perspective including, but not limited to, creative financing such as using a captive, corporate owned life insurance to finance benefit programs, and managing risk transfers including lump sums and annuity purchases.
-Assist with local International Investment Committees including, but not limited to, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Mexico by leading the agenda and project planning. Communicate with partners, investment consultants and global actuary in insuring all fiduciary compliance is met. Manage the investment consultant relationship(s).
-Working with the Senior Director, Total Rewards Global Risk and external Investment Consultant(s) to support the selection, monitoring and, if necessary, replacement of investment managers, trustees and custodians on a worldwide basis for retirement plans. Terminate managers, as needed, and work with custodian and transition manager to ensure seamless movement of assets from terminated manager to new manager; Review all legal documents before hiring a new manager into the plan (Investment Manager Agreements, Form ADVs, Declaration of Trust/Participation Agreement, Investment Manager Guidelines, Securities Lending Policy, Fees, etc.)
-May manage or assist with the various special projects including assessing staffing needs (contractors, project managers, consultants) for
-Preparation of Request for Proposals ("RFPs") for benefit plan providers, investment consultants, actuaries, administrators, record keepers, trustees, and other service providers; Assist in the analysis and review of responses
-Management of risk and investment related assessments and actions for global acquisitions, organic growth into new countries or regions
-Management of legacy plan harmonization, termination and risk transfer projects and activities including selecting insurers to ensure proper alignment of benefit and retirement plans to company strategy and cost structure
-Management/partnership of special studies and cross functional projects
-Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters
-Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work
nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

-Bachelor's degree in Finance or Human Resources or related field. MBA or master's degree preferred.
-7+ years of relevant experience
-Strong executive presence and communication skills
-Must be willing to work in Philadelphia; however, other work locations may be considered
-Willingness to travel to other site locations globally
-Unsurpassed record of establishing integrity, credibility, and rapport with HR, Finance, Treasury and client teams.
-Must be very detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
