MBA Games
Objective
The MBA Games, started in 1988 by Queen’s University, is an annual competition where MBA students from across Canada compete in academics, sports, and team spirit events. It’s a tradition that friendly competition among universities.

Description
The MBA Games started in 1988 and has grown into Canada’s biggest annual MBA competition. For over 36 years, it’s brought together the brightest graduate business students, blending academics, athletics, and team spirit into an unforgettable experience.
What began as a single event has turned into a national tradition, building connections between schools, industries, and communities. Beyond competing for the win, teams come together to make an impact, raising funds and awareness for meaningful causes.
Since 1997, the hosting rights have been passed to the winning school, giving the event a chance to travel across Canada and bring future business leaders together in new cities each year.
The MBA Games is about more than just competition—it’s about leadership, giving back, and continuing the legacy of those who’ve come before.
2025 Theme
Digital has transformed consumer preferences and organizational behaviour. It has ushered in greater productivity and amplified inherent gaps in society and businesses. As business leaders, we must bring digital equity through accessibility, innovation, participation and building sustainable ecosystems in organizations and, thereby, the larger community. This process will involve accepting and understanding the current data biases, digital divides, privacy and security concerns and systemic inaccessibility. Through the games, we invite you to explore the theme of ‘Digital Equity: Closing the Chasm,’ coming up with practical solutions for an open, secure and free digital business ecosystem that is sustainable.
