Essential and desired criteria

Essential criteria

  • Strong results in a Postgraduate degree (e.g. MBA, PhD, MSc, Meng, MSIS, MSc IT, MScM)
  • At least five* years´ relevant work experience within BP´s Downstream distinctive capability areas of Sales, Marketing and Retail, Commercial and Technology.
  • Commercial awareness and demonstrated personal effectiveness skills aligned to BP´s Leadership Expectations.
  • The potential to progress to leadership roles within candidate´s home country.
  • Career aspiration to progress within one of Downstream´s distinctive capability areas: Sales, Marketing and Retail, Commercial and Technology.
  • A commitment to remain on the Future Leaders Program for the full duration of the 4 year program.

* Five years´ relevant professional experience is usually required but we will consider exceptional applications from those with less experience.

Desirable criteria

  • Flexible approach to work location and placement
  • Ability to speak more than one language
